WHY AM I NOT CONVINCED?  Why is it that I think we've been given much less than the truth about the "objects" we whacked just days ago?  Maybe I'm just paranoid, or awake?  From Fox: 

The three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) that were shot down by the U.S. military over the weekend were "not engaged in hostile actions," according to sources with knowledge of an unclassified briefing for members of the House of Representatives Tuesday, but the military could not rule out whether a hostile country may have sent them.

And which country would that be?  Does it have a name?  Maybe "The Land of Oz."

A source with knowledge of the House briefing told Fox News Digital that the military determination that the UFOs weren’t hostile was "a determination about offensive capability not a determination as to motive or source country."

If they haven't recovered the wreckage yet, how could they be sure of capability?

So therefore, the military's "legal assessment" is that the objects were "not engaged in hostile actions," but they could not rule out whether a hostile country may have sent them.

Fox News learned that the House lawmakers were briefed by Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Hemispheric Affairs Melissa Dalton, Director of All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office Sean Kirkpatrick, Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Sims II, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Commander Gen. Glen VanHerck of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command.

The source also said that the three objects shot down over the weekend were substantially different in size from the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down a week before over the coast of South Carolina. One was shaped more closely to a balloon-like object and the other two were the size of an ATV.

The Chinese spy balloon differed, as it was 200 feet tall, and the payload was 90 feet across.

COMMENT:  It's reported that the administration is floating the word "benign" to describe the last three objects shot down in the northwest part of the continent.  But all three were flying at altitudes where airliners fly.  A collision, even with a large balloon, could damage an airliner, especially if parts of the balloon were sucked into an engine.  That is not benign.

One administration spokesman speculated that the objects could have been research balloons sent up by universities or even corporations.  But the objects had nothing written on them.  Seems a bit farfetched to me to suggest that old Podunk U would send up a balloon with no I.D.

Not happy with the answers.  Not happy at all.  We have a large economic relationship with China, with many dollars changing hands and many careers involved.  Could there be some tampering with facts here?  Not charging.  I don't have direct evidence.  But just thinking.
